Many people think serene pictures, calming meditation phrases, and light reading when it comes to coffee table conversation pieces. This is just that! Especially if you have a sense of humor and aren't worried about offending your friends and family (I'm certainly not!). I actually purchased another as a funny gift for my friend who is into meditation. It was part of a "wedding gift" that was very well received (because not everyone wants a gravy boat they'll never use. This actually will ;)).
Good for a laugh. Even though I meditate and have a spiritual practice, sometimes it's good to not take it all so seriously. This little book is perfect for that. It's irreverent, not mean spirited (IMO).
This little gem is a necessity for everyone who has a heartbeat. In my worst moment this will make me, "breathe in strength...breathe out bullsh*t."
I firmly believe swearing always helps. I also appreciate deep breathing and calm awareness. And, Lo, A Book For Me.And possibly you.Really.I keep this in my drawer and pull it out when I feel a rant coming on. I still get to swear, but in the service of letting it all go (instead of getting it all over my poor, long-suffering friends). That’s a good thing.Thanks, Jason.
The book content is great--very funny, but both books I received were damaged--the bottom right corners of the books were bent/smashed in. I can't see giving these as gifts as they look used despite being new. I'd return them but I do not want to go through the hassle of boxing them up and mailing them back (or paying to mail them back).

Hysterical. I bought it for my aunt for Christmas. She suffers from depression and I thought that this was such a great idea to make someone laugh in a soothing way! I might end up buying one for myself.Great quality. Some of the pictures are sub-par, but I don’t mind it.
